As a part of the proposal for a comprehesive redesign for a single application, I produced a map detailing all the navigable elements. There are 2200+ links, many of which were redundant references to a relatively few pools of content or functionality.  Findability is an major issue. Making the scope visible allowed us to really make sure we were cautious and responsible with proposed changes.
